Happy Anniversary to us!
On Thursday, we celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary. On Friday night, we enjoyed an evening in downtown Miami with dinner at the Mandarin Oriental hotel--known for its great restaurants and beautiful view of Biscayne Bay and the Ocean. The sunset from our table was incredible. The inside of the hotel was equally beautiful--above you will see the table of red orchids artistically arranged in the lobby. Apparently, the rooms here are amazing, too. But we wouldn't know at $500+ a night. We will just pretend we are staying there.
In case you didn't notice, Rose wasn't with us. Rose had an equally enjoyable evening with Ms. Mary reading books and playing with toys that belong to her friends Luke, Levi and Abby. Mary said she is quite the explorer--which we knew already. Mary said she expected to sit and play with Rose. Sitting wasn't on Rose's agenda.
